Jersey City
Jersey City is located in Hudson County, in northeastern New Jersey on a peninsula between the Hudson and Hackensack rivers. Seven miles to the west is Newark and to the east is Manhattan Island of New York.
A Commuter's Paradise
Jersey City is a hot area in the new Gold Coast of New Jersey. Conveniently located just minutes away from the Journal Square Path Station you have access to all of the wonders of New York City with only a short 15 minute ride. Shopping at the Newport Mall in downtown Jersey City is less than a 5 minute ride.

Journal Square Path Station
The Journal Square Path Station remains the best deal in town. It costs only $1.75 to ride and even less with the purchase of a “Smartlink” card. Open 24 hours a day with trains operating daily this is a reliable form of transportation.

PATH (Port Authority Trans Hudson)
The PATH Subway Line links Jersey City to Hoboken, Harrison, Newark, Downtown New York City and Midtown New York City. |

There are four PATH Subway stations easily accessible in Jersey City; Exchange Place, Grove Street, Pavonia/Newport and Journal Square. The PATH Subway provides easy access to both Manhattan and Newark.

Additional Transportation
In addition to the Journal Square Path Station many other forms of transportation are readily available. The New York/New Jersey Water Way is easily accessible from Jersey City along with the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail system and major highways such as the New Jersey Turnpike.

Roads Connecting to Jersey City
Jersey City is at the center of a major highway system allowing easy access for employees and goods to travel both into and out of Jersey City.
The Holland Tunnel gives car and bus access to Manhattan. US Routes 1 & 9, I-78, I-95, I-280 and the NJ Turnpike (exits 14B and 14C) make travel convenient to northern, western and southern destinations. While driving on the New Jersey Turnpike traffic conditions are reported on the AM radio station 1610 for commuter convenience.

Airports
Newark Liberty International Airport is located less than 10 miles to the southwest of Jersey City. The Teterboro Airport is 10 miles to the north and both LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International Airports are less than 25 miles to the east.
